Our facility is a block building with each cell filled with concrete not only for sound proofing but built for hurricanes in mind. All roof trusses are double strapped. The Facility is built high out of flood plains. We are installing our own water reserve & complete building diesel generator. Safety, along with constant self education monthly keeps us moving in a positive direction. Our rubber Rock flooring is one of a kind. A must see, example is in the floor in the entrance way. My goal has been to build a boarding facility that was unlike any one has ever seen. To hire people not because they need a job but because it was something they enjoyed doing. I wanted the best for the people and pets that came to visit us here. I’ve spent many years visiting, reading, and studying the different types of boarding facilities throughout Florida and in our neighboring states.

The one thing that they all had in common was that they all looked like a kennel, smelled like a kennel and were run like a kennel. That was the very thing I was trying to avoid. Pets are our children, as silly as that may seem to some of us, but it’s true. They are there through thick and thin and will never tell you you’re lazy or complain about the weather. They are just there. I felt after several years of having to board my pets during my breaks from school that I was punishing them by sticking them in some run down smelly barn with wire and concrete that was called a boarding kennel, and so were my friends.

I knew that I loved animals, I loved the satisfaction of seeing them healthy, happy and playing, so what better for me than to surround myself with something that brings joy into my life. I set out to purchase a place that could eventually become what you see here today: Hagan’s Pet Resort, is a state of the art boarding facility that caters to your pets every need.

We now have 5 acres fenced in exercise area

As well as a local community man's best friend play park with 16,000 sq. feet of play area with pools and a pet playground!
